LEGION SPORTS CRICKET CAMP
Legion Sports hosted a cricket camp for junior cricketers aged 5-16 (boys and girls) at Lindsay Hassett Oval (Oval 11) from 19-21 December 2022, 8:30am-3:00pm. The camp was led by Simon Helmot, WBBL Renegades Coach, and Ben (‘Specky’) McGee, SMDSC Operations Manager.
Details for future camps will be posted once finalised.
SOUTH MELBOURNE DISTRICT JUNIOR CRICKET CLUB
At South Melbourne District Junior Cricket Club we aim to create a positive and inclusive environment for girls and boys to make friends, develop skills and enjoy the great game of cricket.
Our players are asked to play fair and in the spirit of the game. We expect our players to respect their team-mates, coaches, opponents and umpires at all times.
We have teams in the Rookies (U10), U12, U14 and U16 South East Cricket Association (SECA) junior competition and we also expect to have an U14/U16 team in the All Girls Cricket Competition (AGCC). SECA games are played on weekends and AGCC Games are played on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.
For our youngest cricketers, we host a Junior and Master Blasters program on Saturday mornings commencing October.
The SECA junior cricket season will commence in October. The AGCC season will also commence in October.
