South Melbourne District Senior Cricket Club aims to create pathway for junior players to continue on playing cricket and help transition from synthetic to turf cricket at longer format.
There is a long history of South Melbourne Districts junior players graduating to play senior men's cricket on turf just down the road at Middle Park. SMD and MPCC continue to join hands towards great initiative of creating a pathway towards seniors.
