Former Essendon & Hawthorn star, Danny Jacobs joins the Junior Development Program! Danny Jacobs joins South Melbourne Districts Junior Development Program!
South Melbourne Districts are delighted to welcome former Junior Danny Jacobs back to the club in a Junior Development role. The former Essendon and Hawthorn AFL Star (126 games) will assist the club in a specialist role and be a mentor for our youngsters. The club hopes to make other announcements regarding development positions in the coming weeks. Further details on our Junior Football program will be provided at our first Junior Training day on Wednesday 24th February, Lindsay Hassett Oval. The club expects to field 12 sides from Under 9 to Under 16 in 2010. Remember you can use the moldable variety from the chemist if you misplace one fitted by the dentist. They cost around $15 - $20.
