INFORMATIONThe club runs a number of events throughout the year. Our main event is the Annual Dinner Dance, but lots of other functions are held such as the cocktail party for the Senior Football Team, Ladies Luncheon, Swans Family Days etc.   EVENTS   Major Club Event - Sat 24 July - St Kilda Town Hall The Club’s major fundraising event will be held on Saturday, July 24 at the St Kilda Town Hall! It will be a fabulous night for the whole of the sports club. We hope to have 500 people along for this major fun-filled sports night – hosted by none other than Dr Turf – author, punter and former 3AW radio commentator, John Rothfield! Dr Turf's most prominent radio gig was as a co-host on 3AW radio show Glossing Over, as part of the AFL football line-up that included Rex Hunt, Trevor Marmalade and Craig Hutchinson. Dr Turf (John Rothfield) Former Punter to Punter member, former breakfast radio announcer, comedy writer, professional punter. Has never physically met nor personally exchanged information with MK Gupta. We are now pleased to confirm that joining John Rothfield aka Dr Turf our MC for the night, will be panellists: Kevin Bartlett, Trevor Marmalade, Rob Quinney, Danny Jacobs, Len Johnson, Peter Bedford and Tony Morwood! In keeping with the sports theme, the entertainment for the night will be provided by Russell Robertson's Band!
