INFORMATIONThe club runs a number of events throughout the year. Our main event is the Annual Dinner Dance, but lots of other functions are held such as the cocktail party for the Senior Football Team, Ladies Luncheon, Swans Family Days etc.   EVENTS   VAFA BLOOD CHALLENGEif anyone is donating blood with the Red Cross and is a member of South Melbourne District Sports Club then mention this so their donation can count toward our tally in the VAFA Blood Challenge. The aim of the challenge is to collect 1,000 blood donations from VAFA players and club members during the footy season. Whether or not our club can win some of the prizes on offer such as training tops and new footballs will depend on the percentage of club members who donate blood for the challenge between now and Sep 1.
