Up to 8 of our Junior players are thrilled to be playing Senior cricket with our alliance Club, Middle Park CC this season.

(Note the beautiful cover drive in the centre in the distance. That’s Charlie McDonald, one of our Under 16s players serving it up for Middle Park CC)
This season we have already seen up to 8 of our Junior players take up Senior cricket with our alliance Club, Middle Park CC. The boys train with the Seniors on Thursday evenings and turn out for some pretty fiery and competitive cricket on Saturdays.
This alliance with Middle Park CC gives our boys a terrific opportunity to hone their skills on turf under the guidance and mentoring of the Senior MPCC players. This is a positive and rewarding experience for which we cannot thank Middle Park CC enough. Not only have our boys been welcomed into the senior ranks, they have been pitched in at the deep end….opening the bowling, opening the batting. All of them distinguishing themselves and earning the acclaim of all that have watched them.
This arrangement provides all of our older players the perfect pathway into Senior cricket once they complete their Junior career at 16. We owe Middle Park CC many thanks for their support and thank Bill Belbin in particular who has made it his business to drive this alliance and make it work.
