Michael Ratnam excels and does The Club proud «« Michael Ratnam holding the prized Josh Browne Plate on behalf of the CMCA Under 12 team.Michael Ratnam, selected earlier this season to represent the CMCA Under 12s helped his team win the Josh Browne Plate. Michael’s personal performance was quite outstanding. He accumulated 224 runs in 7 innings and was the competition’s overall highest run scorer. With a batting average of 74.67 we are delighted to record that he drew the admiration and acclaim of many coaches and observers. For the last few years the Club has encouraged and fostered Michael’s talent. One of his earliest Coaches, Alan Marshall, signalled his talent. This year, Jim Hiotis, his Under 12A Team Coach has obviously inspired his development. We are thrilled at his achievement and point to his hard work and enthusiasm as a brilliant example of what listening to your coach(es) and working hard on your game can achieve in cricket. Michael, your Club is proud of your talent and determined team effort and wish you every success in the years ahead. |
