3 of our boys make it into the Caulfield Hatch Team

Louis Raymond, Patrick Garschagen and Tom Kittson have all just been selected to represent Caulfield CC in their U15s Hatch Team. These boys play in our powerful Under 14s Twilight A Team. This is an outstanding achievement considering the competition to make it into the Caulfield team. We are equally proud of a number of other boys that trialled for this and other Hatch teams who just missed out by a whisker.
This is Patrick’s second year in the Caulfield team as well as Louis’ second year of representative cricket. Tom Kittson, leg spinner extraordinaire, has made it into the team having only turned 13 last September. These boys prove that hard work and dreams do come true. We are mighty proud of them and wish them well in the Hatch Competition.
Jackson Bennett makes it into the Bundoora Old Paradians U15 Hatch Team
Our cricketers are starring all over the metropolitan cricket fields this summer. Jackson Bennett who plays for our Twilight U16A Team has been selected to play for Bundoora Old Paradians in their U15 R.M. Hatch team. This is the second year that Jackson has achieved Hatch representative level.
Jackson is another young man who has worked his way through the Club’s Under 12 and 14 levels to achieve representative level. Few players at the Club have worked more honestly on their game. An excellent team cricketer, he fully deserves the recognition of cricket aficionados beyond the Club and we wish him well in the Hatch competition. We’re very proud of him at South Melbourne JCC.
Jack Gavin chosen to play for Elsternwick in the Under 15s R.M. Hatch competition.
Jack Gavin, a stalwart of our Club, a key player in our Under 16 Twilight A Team and the current holder of the Club’s prestigious John Scholes Medal has been chosen to represent Elsternwick in their Under 15s R.M. Hatch Team.
Once again, Jack has been recognised for his outstanding talent and strong team contribution. Congratulations, Jack, the Club wish you well in the U15s Hatch competition which takes place over a 2-3 week period in January 2008.
R.M. Hatch is played on turf wickets by Cricket Victoria selected sub-district clubs who have a responsibility to provide and generate a pathway for talented cricketers at the Under 15 level.
Harry Christie selected in the CMCA U14s Representative Squad
We are delighted to announce that Harry Christie has been selected in the CMCA’s U14s Representative Squad that will play for the Russell Allen Shield in January 2008.
This is an outstanding achievement for an Under 14s first year player and well deserved for one of the Club’s most talented players. Harry, has been knocking on the Rep cricket door for some years. He has worked hard at many Rep try outs and has never given up. He offers a great example to all of our young cricketers…..work hard, never give up and you can reach your goals.
This is a well deserved recognition of Harry’s talent and dedication. We’re mighty proud of him and wish him well in January.
